  1. Ty Segall writes catchy upbeat pop songs, and reverbs/Fuzzes the s*** out of them into blissful madness. My Favorite of Segall's earlier albums. It's a more diverse record then his self titled debut or lemons, but doesn't lose the youthfulness that those albums bring. Elements of the late Jay Reatard, VU, and Iggy Pop are all over this album/5(55).

  8. Jun 15,  · Segall makes quite an impression in half an hour's time, and Melted 's the best foot he's put forward yet. It still seems like his best records are ahead of him, like he's still got a couple of.
  9. San Francisco psych wunderkind Ty Segall continues a tireless musical assault on ears and minds with his third album, Melted. Over the past two years he's released records more often than most people do laundry, but somehow there is still a heap of anticipation for this new album on Goner packed full of truly psychedelic pop songs with great vocals and exciting arrangements.
